About District Medical Group
District Medical Group (DMG) is a nonprofit integrated medical group practice consisting of nearly 1,000 credentialed providers across all major medical and surgical specialties and subspecialties. Dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of Arizonans of all ages, DMG is committed to patient care, education, research, and community service.
Professional clinical services encompass all physicians and mid-level providers staffing a multitude of healthcare facilities throughout the Valley, including a 450-bed acute hospital, three inpatient behavioral health centers, an outpatient specialty center, 11 family health centers, an emergency department, an internationally recognized burn center, and many unique and effective outreach programs that provide care for more than 450,000 patients annually.
DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services (DMG CRS) is the largest multispecialty interdisciplinary clinic (MSIC) in the state of Arizona and the only MSIC in Maricopa County. With more than 25 medical specialties and therapy programs, DMG CRS is designed to meet the unique healthcare requirements of special needs children. DMG CRS serves all pediatric patients with comprehensive support and services, including primary care, dental health, on-site labs, X-rays and pharmacy, behavioral health, and occupational, physical and speech therapy.
DMG prides itself on clinical excellence. More than 95 percent of DMG providers are Board Certified. Patient satisfaction surveys consistently rate the physician performance above the national average.
DMG is a trusted partner in training future healthcare providers in Arizona and has more than 220 residents in nine programs and 60 affiliated programs. DMG is also a founding partner of the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance which aims to increase the number of physicians and other health professionals in Arizona by improving and expanding current health education programs.
DMG providers have garnered both local and national acclaim for their contributions — named as Phoenix’s “Top Doctors” year after year, serving on advisory boards, appointed to governors’ councils, elected to top leadership positions in local and national associations, and are well-known as innovative leaders in medicine.
