Personal History and Interests
Passionate about helping her young patients live life to the fullest, Carol Davis, AuD, CCC-A is committed to “collaborating as a team to ensure care is child centered and family focused.” She helps diagnose and treat hearing loss of all kinds and specializes in hearing loss procedures and treatments including:
- Behavioral audiometry (visual reinforcement, conditioned play, and conventional)
- Hearing aid selection and placement
- Tympanometry, a diagnostic test that helps in the evaluation of the proper functioning of the middle ear
Carol connects with her young patients by finding out what superhero they relate to, what their superpower is, and asking them to share good jokes. Many of her patients also share her love of ice cream sundaes and the PEANUTS gang, especially Snoopy.
Outside of working with children, Carol is an animal lover and has two rescue dogs. She enjoys supporting the animal welfare community by volunteering at local shelters and fundraising and adoption events.
