Kimberly Orin, OTR/L is the manager of the occupational therapy team at DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services and lead occupational therapist for the High Risk Infant Follow Up Clinic. Having completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, she pursues continuing education (CE) opportunities including:
- American Occupational Therapy Association Fieldwork Educator Certification
- Beckman Oral Motor workshops
- Certified Passenger Safety Technician with advanced training in transportation of children with special healthcare needs
- USC/WPS Sensory Integration Certification
Beyond occupational therapy for specific conditions, Kimberly supports patients and their families with additional needs such as:
- Adaptive car seats
- Behavioral feeding
- High risk infant assessments
- Oral/motor and sensory feeding
- Splinting
- Wheelchairs
At work and in her personal time, Kimberly’s philosophy is based on a quote by Jackie Chan, “Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person’s life.”
She loves spending time with family and enjoys travel and wants to travel more often. Kimberly also loves cooking- but not when she has to.
