Navkaran Girgla, MD graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. He then went to the Caribbean completing medical school at Medical University of the Americas.

Dr. Girgla came to Arizona for his internal medicine residency at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix. After finishing his residency program, he remained in the Valley to continue his medical education completing a fellowship in addiction medicine at University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.

In addition to internal medicine, Dr. Girgla specializes in treatment of substance use disorders within a harm reduction framework including unhealthy usage of:
