Personal History and Interests
Beginning her healthcare career as a registered nurse, Nicole Thurman, FNP-C, AAHIVS completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Arizona State University in 2006. In 2012, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing- Family Nurse Practitioner from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Nicole’s first seven years as nurse practitioner were in the field of bone marrow and stem cell transplant. In 2019, she made a career change and began focusing on the care of individuals with HIV. Certified by the American Academy of HIV Medicine, she is an HIV specialist. Committed to serving patients from all walks of life, Nicole also provides services including HIV prevention through pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and other LGBTQ+ healthcare treatments.
