Personal History and Interests

Xavier Douglas, MD spent most of his life growing up in northeast Ohio. He went to Kent State University for his undergraduate degree where he also played collegiate football.

While attending medical school at University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, he discovered his true passion- family medicine. Through being a primary care physician, Dr. Douglas recognized the lasting impact he could have on the community in which he lives.

He stayed in Ohio completing his family medicine residency at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Christ Hospital Health Network. He then moved to Arizona where he was accepted by Phoenix Children’s Hospital for a sports medicine fellowship.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Douglas is a Los Angeles Lakers fan, plays pickleball, and loves peanut butter. He is most passionate, however, about serving and being a positive influence for underserved populations and considers such service his personal mission.
