The nationally-recognized Arizona Burn Center provides inpatient and outpatient services and:

  • Is the only nationally-verified burn center in Arizona

  • Has a survival rate of 98 percent for critically injured patients

  • Is the second largest facility of its kind in North America

The Arizona Burn Center is a standalone facility within Valleywise Medical Center and includes:

  • Burn admissions rooms

  • Coordinated trauma care for critically injured patients

  • Dedicated operating rooms

  • Emergency burn care 24 hours a day

  • Intensive care beds, with the ability to expand to a maximum of 40 beds

  • Massage therapy

  • Outpatient clinic rooms
