Managing urinary system health
The urinary system includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, prostate and reproductive organs, and District Medical Group (DMG) urologists provide the full range of care to get patients back to healthy function. We provide care to patients of all ages, and DMG also includes pediatric urologists serving our younger patients at DMG Children’s Rehabilitative Services (DMG CRS).
Our Board Certified urologists specialize in the following conditions and/or treatments:
Cystoscopy
Genitourinary system disorders
Hydrocelectomy
Impotence and male sexual health
Incontinence
Inguinal and testicular surgery
Kidney, ureteral and bladder stones
Nephrectomy (removal of a kidney)
Prostate biopsy
Urologic tumors and cancer
Vasectomy
Pediatric urologists support the unique needs of children, from infants through adolescents at DMG CRS. Urologic conditions treated in children include:
Bed wetting (enuresis)
Hydronephrosis (swelling of a kidney due to a build-up of urine caused by a blockage or obstruction)
Hypospadias (a relatively rare congenital condition affecting the urethra)
Ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction
Urinary tract infection (UTI)
Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR)
Your DMG urologist will work with you and other physicians involved in your care to determine the best treatment option, which may include surgery. DMG urology surgeons are specialty trained in traditional and non-invasive procedures and will discuss all available surgical options with you.
